If a man drops a $20 bill as he's walking in front of me and no one else sees it happen, first of all I wouldn't pick the money up and put it in my pocket.
Instead I would pick it up and return it back to the person if I get the chance. The reason behind that is because this 20$ bill could mean a lot to him. Maybe he had to work really hard to earn this much money. Even I would get mad if somebody has stolen my $20. But if I don't get the chance to return the money back, I would probably give it to somebody else to help. Because I know how much worthy this 20$ bill would be to the person who worked hard to earn it and after loosing the money he wouldn't be happy but i will not spend the money for myself instead I'll give it to someone who has a money problem, because to me this is the right thing to do.

but at the same time... free money. No, I agree with you. Still, an extra $20 is never a bad thing.
