Instead I would pick it up and return it back to the person if I get the chance. The reason behind that is because this 20$ bill could mean a lot to him. Maybe he had to work really hard to earn this much money. Even I would get mad if somebody has stolen my $20. But if I don't get the chance to return the money back, I would probably give it to somebody else to help. Because I know how much worthy this 20$ bill would be to the person who worked hard to earn it and after loosing the money he wouldn't be happy but i will not spend the money for myself instead I'll give it to someone who has a money problem, because to me this is the right thing to do.

Math in everyday's life !!!
Mrs. Estelle Sia is one of the great math teacher in Winston Churchill Collegiate Institute. She's been a regular member of out math club. The reason for me to take her interview because as we all know life is not easy and I'm really curious to know how did she make herself to reach into this position, teaching in a high school in a different country. I was always curious to know how does it feel and the other reason for me to choose her because math is one of my favourite subject so I'm also interested to know how did she become so good in it.
Miss Sia has been teaching in this school for three years now. She likes and enjoys teaching, but the most part she likes about teaching is that when a student really takes time and the lesson seriously and wants to learn something from her. That makes her bad day really worth it. She finds it very nice working with high school students as they are grown up students and they actually come to school to learn. When students ask her questions that makes her feel fulfilled in order to see that they are really interested to learn things.
Teaching Math wasn't her major area of study although she liked teaching from her childhood. She even played teaching game where she would be the teacher and her friends would be the students, but she never knew that she would be actually teaching someday. And she wasn't a brilliant in math but when she did the aptitude test she got the highest mark in math which really was surprising for her. Then she took a course called statistics later in university which is also a Field in math. At first she was thinking of studying Physcologist but after her first year of university which was only for 2 months she got a scholarship which was also related to math. She finally took the scholarship in order to help her mom and left the university.
After having experiences in teaching in her country for couple of years she came to Canada where she got involved in different communities. Practicing teaching helped her a lot to learn by observing other teachers. She also volunteered in a high school called Dawnsview Secondary school which was her first experience before started teaching here. She also got a chance working in a Church with young people since she really likes working with young and which is also a reason for her teaching in a high school.
Mrs Sia is really a caring and successful teacher who thinks doing homework is really important for a students and who gives a lot of home works to make her students learn better and not to forget things easily. " You learn much better if you do the homework." She said, " anything you do here it prepares you for your future career, so if a student does her homework everyday there's not a reason for her not to success in life."
The most thing she likes about W.C.C.I is that this school has a good system of communication because it is easy for her to inform parents about their child's progress. She gives tests, quizzes, performance activities and exams to evaluate her students progress because these methods have been using for years and she finds them worth it because these usually do work out. She is hoping to get to know W.C community many more, to have more experiences with students of W.C, and to help more students to reach their goals and definitely make them understand the basic concepts.
Her goals five years from now are to learn something new everyday in life which would make her a better teacher, to get into a higher position, to do better in everything and she is looking forward to retire in 15 years from now.
She really loves to prepare a lesson everyday to teach her students something which would really help them and tries to make a difference in their every day's life. She really wants them to understand how much math is important in life and she explores things from her students while she is teaching. She is really a successful teacher and students love her a lot.
At the top of the blog I have put a picture of Mrs Sia.
